Novice Operator Forklift Course
This course is ideal for the Company with its first Fork Lift Truck and no previous experience of Materials Handling Equipment. The candidate receives tuition in safe operational techniques, which include closely supervised practice in simulated but realistic working conditions. There is a section of the course which comprehensively covers all aspects of lift truck theory and all matters involving current Health and Safety regulations. The course can also be adapted to suit your operational requirements.
Maximum number of trainees per course - 8.
A duration of three to four days is needed for this course.
On completion of the training course the trainee will be able to:
* Name all main components of the forklift truck
* Carry out a Pre-shift inspection check and understand the importance of such checks.
* Operate the forklift truck within the safety limits defined by the manufacturer.
* Stack and de-stack from various heights with various loads safely.
* Manoeuvre a laden forklift truck in a narrow confined area.
Unlicensed with Experience Forklift Course
This course is designed for the experienced forklift operator who has not had the benefit of formal training, or when corrective tuition is required. The course allows the operator time to develop and improve their skills under qualified supervision, also providing theoretical knowledge of safe working practices and relevant legislation through informal classroom sessions.
Maximum number of trainees per course - 8.
A duration of two days is needed for this course.
Refresher Course
This course is designed to give Certificated Forklift Operator a refresher course. The course we offer is designed to update the operator in all aspects of lift truck operation, practice, theory and legislation. Some operators have picked up bad habits. Some have forgotten important information. Some have not had the training required.
Maximum number of trainees per course - 10.
A duration of 4 hours is needed for this course.
On completion of the forklift training course the trainee will be able to:
* Display on the job skills
* Name all main components of the forklift truck
* Carry out a Pre-shift inspection check and understand the importance of such checks.
* Operate the forklift truck within the safety limits defined by the manufacturer.
